Presenter: Good morning dear viewers. Our program with Mr. Adnan Oktar is getting started. Today we have our friends from the USA. They are from the Vice News TV Channel. I would like to give information about the Vice News.

 

Vice News, with 34 representative offices throughout the world, was founded in New York in 2013. They broadcast in English and French. Particularly, their various documentaries covering daily topics but not dealt with by other channels are followed by masses. The number of views of Vice News videos targeting mainly the youth and with 1,5 million followers on Youtube may reach up to 260 million. Its documentaries are broadcast on HBO, one of the most reputed television channels in the USA. The topics they have worked on are civil war in Syria, the North Korean regime, Gezi protests and ISIS. Now, we go on with the introduction.

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Yes, they would like to talk about Ramadan.

 

Presenter2: You would like to speak about Ramadan?

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Yes.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Ramadan is a month that opens the hearts of Muslims and gives them relief. It is known as the “sultan” of the 12 months. Muslims rejoice over the coming of Ramadan; the iftar is a pleasure, sahur time is also another kind of pleasure. People wake up for sahur, at around 3 o’clock in the morning. Generally people prefer to eat light food during the sahur. If it is summer, then melon, watermelon, cheese, macaroni, and breakfast food are preferred.

 

Presenter: There are a few photographs we can share about sahur.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Let me see them. Yes. Indeed these are quite beautiful.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: It is difficult to wake up for sahur at nights; that is why all around Turkey and also in the Islamic world drummers play drums. They sing songs with beautiful lyrics and it has a beautiful appearance. The drummers of Ramadan are an adornment of Ramadan.

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Let me see them.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Yes, they walk from door to door, and from street to street. This way it is a delight for people to wake up for the sahur. They sing songs with special Turkish poems.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: At iftar time, those who fast feel very appetent and enthusiast because they are starved. They eat their meal, rejoicing over them but generally there is a procedure of how to start the iftar; people generally drink water, mild water and sometimes consume a little bit salt. Sometimes date palm is eaten. It is sunnah to start iftar with water and date palm.

Mr. Adnan Oktar: These are really great tables.

Mosques are adorned with “mahya”s, illuminated letters are strung between the minarets. For instance the statement, “Welcome Ramadan” is strung. In the past this was made by “kandil”s – oil lamps with candles and oil- but now such bulbs are being used. Because there is electricity, this has been so easy.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Electricity is cool. Yeah.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: In the past it was so hard to accomplish it with “kandil”s, “kandil”s with oil. Now it is rather easy.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: But at least you have the drums.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: There are also the Ramadan activities. Karagöz and Hacivat [the lead characters of traditional Turkish shadow play], for instance, and various entertainments. These are the traditional entertainments, which are liked by kids and adults alike. In brief, Ramadans are experienced in a spirit of feast.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Oh, cool.

Mr. Eddie Huang: Do you ever do Ramadan episodes?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: We have not had an activity of that kind but of course they are being practiced widely. We go on with our daily lives.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: I think it would be cool though if you did it. Because in America the Simpsons have the Christmas special.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: That is to say, we have fun everyday.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Oh, cool. Yeah.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Yes, everyday we have music and dance. We have entertainment everyday.

 

Eddie Huang: Everyday is Ramadan.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Of course, this must be the case. For a Muslim everyday must be a means to draw closer to God. He must feel that rejoice everyday. That is how we live it.

 

Eddie Huang: Yes. Like Lego Movie 2. Everything is Ramadan. Yeah, that'd be good.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: For instance yesterday we had a great iftar, it was very crowded, people who have love for us came. We can show its photographs if you have it.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: It was very crowded, it was very crowded and I visited all the tables one by one and welcomed them all.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Has he heard of Thanksgiving in America?

Mr. Adnan Oktar: We buy a big, a lamb-size turkey.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Oh, wow.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Turkey is really a delicious food.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Yeah, it is great.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: You have the joy peculiar to the Americans. This suits you very much.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Yeah, you know, I would probably be less happy if I was born in China, but I am definitely stupider for being born in America. It is an ignorant happiness.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: American people have a nice morality. Though they have lost their former joy now. However the joy, morality, personality and kindness of Americans is really very beautiful.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Oh, do you like the morality of Americans?

 

Sayın Adnan Oktar: Yes, they have a beautiful joy, and their love for one another is also fine. There is a secure environment. Their houses are not divided with barbed wire, they don’t use very strong security precautions. Everyone trusts one another, there is a friendly, brotherly environment, that is so nice. But the quailty in the 60s, 70s was better. The American quality.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Why in the 60's and 70's? Free love?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: People used to dress better, women were more meticulous about their attires and Americans were more well-groomed, more pious.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Oh, if he goes to Coachella people are still wearing those clothes.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: So nice. Also Americans used to be more physically fit, they have become generally deformed. In the 60s, this was not the case.

In my opinion fast food has a contribution in this.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Yeah, I think a lot of this are preservatives. My body is just hanging onto things.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Yes, they have started to degenerate. This is not something good.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: The one positive of the deformity though is that white women have bigger butts in America now, so it is very popular.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: As I see it, they have been degenerated, in the past they used to be slim waisted and very beautiful. That is to say, I was supposed to say hips.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: He doesn't like butts? Big butts?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: I do not care if you use this word. But the American girls who are doing sports are indeed beautiful, we need to appreciate this. There are ladies exercising and body building very well.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: If American women work out they have beautiful bodies?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Yes, I see it so.

Mr. Adnan Oktar: For instance, I thought that Kardashian had that figure because of the exercise she made, but it does not seem so, that is why I feel sorry.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: She wears shape-up shoes. So if you wear shape-ups and walk around, I think it lifts up your butt.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: For instance that is also the case with Amber. It is seen that she is exercising very well, indeed she has a good figure.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Yeah, yeah. She works out. I agree. Very nice body. I think Wiz Khalifa really messed up. Yeah.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: I always have her in my mind.

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Only Kardashian made herself used about the Armenian issue, that is why I criticize her. She shouldn’t have indulged in such a thing, because both Turkish people and Armenian people were massacred. That was a war but she presented as if there was a unilateral massacre. This was not becoming of her.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: You know, I am not familiar enough with that issue to have an opinion. I was kind of hoping to continue talking about the eyeliner with the wings. Because it is a telltale sign if a girl comes to a date with the eyeliner with the wings, cause you know she spent a lot of time so she cares about you.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Yes of course that is a manifestation of respect.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Yes, it is a show of respect.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: I like the way Kardashian dresses, that is to say I like her choices of color and the way she dresses.

 

Eddie Huang: Yeah, do you like her dressing before Kanye or after Kanye?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: They were both beautiful but her previous style was classical, that was fine. Then her style deteriorated a little bit.

But the former one was real Kardashian…

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Oh yeah, the more, you like the Herve Leger bandage dress?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Yes, her conception of make-up and the expression on her face was more beautiful then.

Indeed Kardashian sisters are beautiful.

Mr. Adnan Oktar: According to the law in Turkey, we do not give brand names on live broadcast.

Yeah, we wanted to meet you because we wanted to ask about Ramadan, but then also we came to Turkey because your show is very fun and usually you have the kittens and we were very excited to meet the girls. Unfortunately, there are no girls. But you know, we've watched your show on Youtube, it is really cool and we just wanted to get your perspective on Islam. Because in America they have a very narrow- we have a very narrow view of Islam. And I think it is because, number one - we don't know that much, number two - we don't contact it as much.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Islam is being misrepresented. In the conception of Islam based on the Qur'an, there is no terror and anarchy. There is no compulsion, pressure in Islam. Everything is so beautiful and easy. The Qur'an does not prescribe women to cover their heads. Covering is prescribed only for situations when women find themselves in a troubled environment. But normally the Qur'an does not prescribe covering of the body. They made everything difficult, and they presented everything as a pressure. For instance the model of Islam presented by ISIS and Taliban is not a model in compliance with the Qur'an. The model of the ultra-orthodox traditionalist Muslims is also not in compliance with the Qur'an. That is to say, there is a misunderstanding but now there is a fast resolution about it. According to our conviction, Jesus (pbuh) will come again. And, Mahdi, that is to say, Moschiah will appear. Mahdi awaited by Jews is the same with Moschiah. Once they come, this wave of violence and terror will come to an end. The true conception of Islam will prevail the world. Weapons will be eliminated, all weapons will be melt down and they will be used for industry. Wars will come to an end.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: How do you say awesome in Turkish? Harika!

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Masha’Allah, very fine.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Yeah, you know, I've also read that you feel like Turkey is the center of the universe? And I think that actually could make some sense but I just wanted to understand why he feels that way. I see, I could understand that because it is in between Europe and Asia, and on top of North Africa, so I guess it is in the center, but I just always thought 1^st Street and 1^st Avenue in New York was the center of the universe.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Constantinople, the center of the world is Istanbul. Rome.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: I thought it was Istanbul now.

 

Presenter2: Old Rome, Constantinople.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: It is the center of the world, it used to be the center of the world in the past and also right now it is the center of the world.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: See, this is where I get confused when people are like Constantinople or Istanbul and then Constantinople. Nobody knows but the Turks.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Istanbul’s ancient name is Constantinople. In other words, Rome. It was the center of the world. It was the center of the Islamic world, it is still the center of the world.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Yeah, oh, still center of the world?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Of course.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Okay, if you say so.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: It is the most beautiful city of the world.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: It is pretty beautiful.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: It is more beautiful than all the cities.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Has he been to New Jersey? Have you been to Newark?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: No, I didn’t leave Istanbul much.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Newark really gives it a run for its money. Newark, New Jersey. There are so many nice cars in Newark; it is the carjacking capital of the world.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Fine. I like America.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Yeah, the America's fun.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Every part of America is very beautiful.

I like its people, its cities.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: I like Turkish women. Are you on Tinder?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Yes Turkish girls are beautiful but there are many beautiful people all around the world. Spanish girls are beautiful, Italian girls are beautiful, American girls are beautiful.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Yeah, but I have been on Tinder the last few days here, just swiping, and there is some good stuff here.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: All countries have beautiful ladies, for instance Russian girls, they are very well-groomed and beautiful.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Yes, but sometimes they want to be paid.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: But that is a pitiful incident indeed, we will have compassion for them, because they are forced to do so.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Yeah.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Russians is a noble community, they are not the people to commit it. They are forced into this situation.

 

Eddie Huang: Yeah, it is not cool. That is not cool. Russia is not as fun.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: A woman is beautiful with her noble stance, her nobility is beautiful, her classy nature. She becomes beautiful with respect and appreciation.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: I agree.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Otherwise they lose their value…

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Beyonce has a song about independent women. And I really like it.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Beyonce is a beautiful girl.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Yeah, very independent.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: She cares for herself very well.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Very good, very good, I think so. What I was going to ask too though is: So, Bill, you had a… So, we were curious, cause I am not familiar with Islamic creationism, but I know that you believe in Islamic creationism, so what is it? What is the Islamic creation story?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: When we look at the paleontological evidence, in other words the fossils, [which are so abundant that] 600 millions fossils were unearthed so far, [we see that] none of these fossils suggest that there has ever been an evolution in living things.

Evolution is a lie imposed on the people of the world.

I promised to give 10 trillion TL to any one that could bring me a single fossil that proved evolution, and no one has approached me so far.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: What about garfish? Cause I went fishing when I was a kid and I caught this fish that looked like an alligator.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: It might look like a crocodile, a duck, a lamb. It’s just its feature, its special beauty.

The important thing is that they haven’t changed in millions of years. For example we look at 50 million, 100 million year old fossils, and they are the same [as their living counterparts]. 

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: How does he explain then white women with big butts now?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: God created women so beautifully, like a work of art. Women are the most beautiful, most valuable, most exquisite beauty given to humanity. But of course, women become valuable with their characters, with their dignified and respectable characters. But women are the most incredible gift in this world. There is nothing more aesthetic in this world than women.

 

Eddie Huang: I agree. I agree. I agree. Yeah. Cool. Yeah. How long is this show?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: It will go on as much as I want, as much as you want.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: No, I am enjoying it, I just didn't know if I was just running overtime. I am having a good time.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: No, it depends on you and us.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Do you have any questions you want to ask me?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: You are our guests. We are listening to you.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: No?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Rather than questions, I would like to send my love to the American people through you. I would like to express how much I respect and admire them. The American society is a great beauty for the world. The whole world should join forces to prevent the economic downfall of the USA and also against the spiritual downfall of the USA. Also, it is important that steps are taken to prevent their physical deformation.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Oh, we have to take; Americans should take precautions?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Yes, they can take measures to prevent the deformation of the society. They can take steps against both spiritual and physical deformation.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: I fasted the other day, does that count as a precaution?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Love for God is the main quality of the American society. Even on dollar, they express their love for God. The reason why the Americans are rich, are affluent is because they love God. If they distance themselves from God, they will collapse. And when they love God, they will get richer and live in peace.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: So I am not. He doesn't mind if it is by Christian people loving God in a Christian way, or Jewish people loving God in a Jewish way, as long as they love God, he thinks it is a good thing?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Of course it is very important that it happens in the first stage. Of course, as a Muslim, I would very much prefer them to be religious than being irreligious.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: If there is one thing he wants to tell Americans about Islam, what would it be?  

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Of course, I believe that if the Americans knew about the real Islam, the Islam in the Quran, they will embrace it with great love and enthusiasm. Because in Islam; there is love, music, friendship, peace. Islam fully represents the spirit of American society. Their current values of freedom, love, brotherhood, cleanliness, integrity, are completely embodied in Islam.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Yeah, you know, the culture of Islam is beautiful just like any other culture that I've come into contact with. And I feel like in America, the way it is presented is a very skewed view and we never get to like or appreciate it and understand it culturally. It is always spoken about in a dogmatic way, you know.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Definitely. [Islam] is being introduced very wrongly, as a traditionalist, Orthodox system. They are presenting a religion based on superstitions, not on the Quran.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: How is it; does he have an opinion on how people are mislead to joining ISIS? Like, how does that happen, that something gets like dysmorphia, you know, I guess what I am trying to say is: How is it that people have taken the Qur'an to mean something like that and join something as radical and immoral as ISIS?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: This is an incident explained in the hadiths, something that is supposed to happen in history. It is supposed to happen before the emergence of Mahdi, in other words Moschiah. It is happening just like the Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) described it. Finally Mahdi - Moschiah will appear, those people will swear allegiance to him and terrorism and anarchy will come to a definite stop.

 

Presenter3: And also you ask, how they take this from the Qur’an, right?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: But what? They don't draw their radical conclusions, justifications from the Qur’an. They draw them from superstitions.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Yeah, but you know, what I am saying is, I fully agree. What happens is this, in America, it is presented as that is somehow related to Islam. You know, but it is not.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: This is not Islam. First of all, God bans compulsion in the Quran. God says ‘there is no compulsion in religion’. But they are forcing people.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Do you think culture in Islam will ever shift enough so that you guys will eat pork?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: No, Islam, the Qur’an will continue to be valid until the Judgment Day.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: So you've never eaten, he's never eaten pork?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: No, pork is illegal in Islam.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Do you think there will ever be, like, cause I eat a lot of pork so that I don't think I could ever be Muslim, right?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: It is also illegal in Judaism too. It is illegal for Muslims too. But as far as I can see, Christians are allowed to eat it. So, you are free to eat it according to your religion.

 

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Christians can act according to their own faith.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: I will check this out.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: If it is allowed in real Christianity, it might be. But of course I’m against the altered parts of the Bible.

For instance, Jesus is not the son of God. Jesus is a prophet of God. This is an invented notion in Christianity. Neither Jesus, nor any of the prophets preceding him are God. Neither Abraham, Noah, Ishmael, Isaac, or Jacob were God, they were prophets of God. They were all prophets. Jesus is a prophet. So that is an invented notion and I’m against it.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang:  The ones before Abraham? He is the first?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: No prophet is God. Neither Adam, Noah, Jacob, Solomon, none of them [were God].

All of them were prophets. He (Jesus) was also a prophet.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: All of them are prophets, yeah.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Of course, it is important to research what has been altered and what has remained intact in the Bible. It has to be looked into. But pork is illegal in Judaism, that’s for sure. I don't know if Jesus made it legal. But pork is a very unhealthy food, it has very high cholesterol levels, and it also has trichinae. Trichina is a life-threatening parasite. That is why it is dangerous.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: What about beef? You guys eat a lot of beef and lamb. That has pretty high cholesterol, too?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: But is particularly very high in pork. In caviar, too. And also, in some certain fish types. It is very high in ducks too. It is lower in those, much much lower. For example, it is very very low in turkey.

Pork is a very fatty food.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: I actually think that the most dangerous food is baklava.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Of course sugar is very unhealthy. Deserts, baklava and pastries, they are all bad for health.

Sugar is a very dangerous substance.

It is bad for the heart, and increases the cholesterol levels.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: This show is fun.

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: And this is only the beginning.

 

Mr. Eddie Huang: Are we allowed if the crew has questions?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: Yes, go on please.

 

Mr. William Pruitt: Bill Pruitt: In this day and age when satirical cartoonist are being gunned down for their views, does he worry about his views, in a public forum like this, becoming very dangerous to him?

 

Mr. Adnan Oktar: No, I make my stance against ISIS, Taliban very very clearly. I shout out clear and loud that I’m very against the orthodox understanding of Islam. For example, there is the terrorist organization PKK. I insult them all the time. I say all kinds of things, say all insulting words to them. Because they martyred hundreds of thousands of our soldiers, police officers. They are a mafia, a murder organization. From time to time, they change their names. They call themselves PJAK, other things. But PKK is a big scourge for Turkey at the moment. It is a communist, Stalinist organization of violence and oppression. They are mafia. I make my stance against them very clearly. I say everything very clearly.
