What does the British deep state's mentality, "War is peace, slavery is freedom, ignorance is strength" mean?

Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Conversation on A9TV dated November 19th, 2016

ADNAN OKTAR: For the British deep state, turning a prosperous economy into poverty is very significant. For example, the British deep state abides by a mentality that is very frightening and utterly insane. "War is peace," they say; "War is peace. Others' war means our peace." Because they benefit from war. In war, their weapon factories operate, they get to acquire the raw materials, the oil resources of the belligerent countries. And of course, what is most essential for them is the arms industry. "Slavery is freedom," says the British deep state; look, "Slavery means freedom." In other words, "People's freedom means our slavery," they say, "It means our slavery. So if we make them into slaves, we will become free." Indeed, they live in luxury and grandeur while Muslims live like slaves. They say, "Ignorance is strength." In other words, "Ignorant masses are easy to steer." For example, they can easily recruit traditionalist Orthodox masses into al-Qaeda, Taliban, DEASH and all kinds of ideological movements. This is why "Ignorance is strength" is their slogan. In other words, they say, "The ignorance of the masses gives us strength. Educated, cultured, well-informed, enlightened masses are difficult to control. But it is quite easy to rule the ignorant."
